A Tribute To Princess Diana Princess Of Wales Poem by Mrs. Patricia Dawson

A Tribute To Princess Diana Princess Of Wales

Rating: 4.0

First she was a young woman in love
And next a woman and wife
Bringing some sparkle into everyone's life
She became a mother just full of love
This kind of love is beyond compare
Unique to her, love for her first son
Posing for photos in the daylight sun
Her second son was loved as much as the first
She radiated happiness toward them both
Giving them encouragement and lots of hugs
She understood what they needed most
She was full of love and fun with them
As a caring mother, friend and host
They will have to cling to the memories of her
With mixed feelings, smiles and tears
What a tragedy from us she's been taken away
Her love for life and beauty we will not experience another day
Yes she was devoted and sparkled like a star
Now we can only look upward in the sky
And see her as the brightest star from afar
She had immense feeling and understanding
For those suffering ill health and loss of limbs
She will be greatly missed and our hearts go out to her sons
Who have lost their great treasure of a friend and a Mum
Please God give them your comfort and strength to carry on.
I salute her and feel emptiness and shock now she has gone.
