We joined hands and gathered for the occasion
The day to celebrate your memorable vocation,
Lighted lamps stood amidst the hungry crowd
To salute the grande dames with our hearts proud;
There art the pupils gathered in great magnitude,
Clad in armors to show their immense gratitude.
With sparkling flowers pinned to our hearts,
A journey of a life time, until the day we part;
She leaves a silent mark, down the memory lane,
A soaring ladder to success, our stepping stone;
The high pile of wisdom, our family, our pride
Surrounds us like the gentle caress of the tide;
The Mother and daughter, thick grass and trees
Together we stood hand in hand realizing a dream.
