A Trick Of The Sylph's Tail Poem by Justin Gildow

A Trick Of The Sylph's Tail

I'm approaching you from below
With my hand in the air
I'm ready to hand this night over to you
If that's alright with you

They say we pass through so many things
Some give and take
Through it all we only get to experience some things once
And then it fades away with time

Something in love always kept me to you
And the daughters of the moon could dust us to sleep and throw out everything we cared about
Just as long as you're there

So it's a trick of the sylph's tail
And this period we both won't forget
