A True Lover Poem by WEIKAMA EMMA

A True Lover

Did you frown on reading what he wrote?
Never mind,
The aches of freezing in his heart all he’s got.
A true butterfly, flies even after hail storms! !

Am sure,
Pretty sure he wakes up at night crying.
But then he realizes it was just a bad dream,
His butterfly is not being taken away.
Whatever he’s reminded,
A true butterfly, flies even after hail storms! !

Dreams involving beloved ones,
He’s convinced mean something.
Makes little sense with the reverse,
But then it’s known,
A true butterfly, flies even after hail storms! !

Matters of the heart,
Very uneasy to understand.
Toss away the “I don’t wanna s”
Can’t be tossed if the heart says “yes”
Can’t be embraced if the heart says “no”
Patience is all it takes,
And he will say “I love you butterfly”
And she will fly even after hail storms! !
