I cannot think of anything my life has left to give
I have no-one to confront, no-one to forgive
In my heart I know I've ruined enough lives already
As I lock eyes with Death, I have never felt more ready
My heart begins to pump as the paces near twenty
Then I point straight to the sky, my hands rock-steady
As I'm falling I can see his utter surprise
Sorrow and confusion welded deep into his eyes
It's almost like inside, he can feel my pain
Emotions overwhelming his head and all his brain
The guilt of ending life can drive a man insane
It's everyone's loss
And no-one's gain
