A Twilight Poem Poem by Shalom Freedman

A Twilight Poem

A TWILIGHT POEM

Oh how I love the twilight
The cool breeze
After the long sunstrong day-

And yet I remember
The sinking fading sadness of the world
Going to Darkness-
And how the end of the day
Has often seemed
The end of the world-

Oh how I love the twilight
Now when there is still light
And the Darkness has not yet come.
