A Valorous Child From Palestine Poem by Javeria Aslam

A Valorous Child From Palestine

I'm a Palestinian kid and a Muslim,
My daddy used to be with me,
Until the vile man of military killed him in Jerusalem.

Now I was an orphan n' I was alone,
So I went to live with my aunt,
After daddy's death this was my only home.

The bestial intruders didn't know my mom was dead,
They thought my aunt was my mom,
And they shot her in the head.

Once again I was made to be alone,
In the world of wild,
With no Guardian and no home.

Life became much more horrifying than before,
Many people were massacred each day on the roads,
It wasn't worth to see I couldn't take it anymore.

I decided to kill the bad guys one day,
They make fountains from the blood of my people,
But the blood of my people, I thought would never go astray.

I waited for myself to get young,
I thought I will end this pain and torture,
Until I got a bullet struck right into my lung.

Those fiendish troops got aware of my plans,
But all they could do was kill me with a gun,
Cause' they were too coward to fight me, I was a strong man.

They tried to shoot me dead,
But I had a mission so I survived,
And I'll continue my efforts till I erase all the red.

The dastardly enemy can just kill,
But legends struggle and fight,
We are determined and fight we will.

I've much courage, don't worry I'll be fine,
But I'll never give up,
Until I save my Palestine.
