A Victim Poem by Raniyal Niyada

A Victim

feeble my cries now sound
hushed by the roars of laughter
my tears now run in vain
masked by the smiling faces...
Ferocious people waiting for an opening
to plunder their paws into me
and to suck out me from the core
As i lay low, tired from all the acting
they gather around me
their finger nails of iron
hidden behind them,
a sympathetic face masking all...
and then slowyly they cratch at the wounds
they burst open
blood oozes out from the wounds
A hand rests on my mouth
absorbing all the cries
i swallow them, they feed me back.
They multiply in millions
fighting for turns...
Next they come with a rope
tying my week body to the rod
and then they lick the blood from the wound
their teeth sink into my wounds
they suck out the blood
before the cries for help leaves me
a dirty rotten rag is inserted into my mouth!
A burning fire runs through my vains
against this scroching pain, defenceless i lay
where is the humanity they feed upon....
oh you messengers of peace
give a piece of cake....
