A Voice Trapped In Silence Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

A Voice Trapped In Silence

A Voice Trapped In Silence
A scream of helpless widow, from the womb of silence.
I am inferior petitioner, waiting for justice of Holy Scripture.
Peace -symbol 'white color 'turns into image of alive Dead.
My life turns worthless along with ashes of my beloved.

Temptation of liberation appears so cheap with invisible bond.
Me really reflection of pain, A reservoir of unsatisfied wants.
A boat trapped in cyclone, A female without any Entity.
A flower without fragrance, eyes without vision of sights.

I'm example of discrimination between male and female.
Me, a page of rotten Scripture contaminated by termites.
Product of Divine's curse, A symbol sin and unlucky.
I am a woman without fertility, A reflection of mirage.

Oh it is too much...enough is enough !

Oh, it is enough! I hate such humiliating expressions.
Will proclaim revolution for Renaissance of female liberation
I will inaugurate my own foundation for identity of my future
Image will be my own, will reject to be shadow of others

I will retain ability to recreate spring in my life to enjoy again
New buds of ambition will bloom in dried branches of trees.
I will paint my own sky With colorful garland of rainbow.
No doubt, I will get comate to hold me with new perspective
