A Walk In The Garden Poem by Derek McCasland

A Walk In The Garden

Rating: 4.0

A Walk in the Garden...
Just you and me,
Respite from our burdens,
Enraptured with thee...

A hand in the dark...
Unforgettable spark...
Your eyes upon mine...
In our own private park.

Lost in each other...
One soul for a while,
In our secret garden,
I kiss your sweet smile.

But something is missing;
It does seem to be.
Maybe you help me...
Plant a small tree?

Wonder as it grows,
So strong in our Love,
And grow to sheild others,
As Goddess above.

It's leaves bearing fruit,
We enjoy in old age,
As we walk in the garden...
And Life turns the page.
