We normally do not

Meaning progressing
from one stage to another.

Then we come to Weights.
10 milligrams is 1 centigram,
10 centigrams is 1 decigram
100 milligrams make one gram
1000 grams is 1 kilogram
we have not used
deci, deca, hectogram.

Liquid measure
10 millilitres is I centilitre,
10 centilitre is 1 decilitre,
100 millilitres is 1 litre
250 millilitres is quarter litre
500 millilitres is half a litre
750 millilitres is 3/4 litre
1000 millilitres is 1 kilo litre.
