A Wind Of Memory Poem by Cherelie Bonsadan

A Wind Of Memory

I tried to get rid of you
I decided to forget you
Try to ignore you in my way,
I even look away when you look at me

I made it and even
succeeded for a little while,
but later all was useless
Here, once again you came accidentally,
Not knowing we’ve come this far

I kept on asking myself,
“why you came to always hunt me? ”
I always escape but then you always caught me
Clearing out my mind hoping I’ll be able to forget you,
However, no matter how much I’ve tried
The memories of you are somewhere been with me.
