A Wish Kills A Wish Poem by Sudam Panigrahi

A Wish Kills A Wish

I'd not thought
The wish will be a weapon
to bring out tears
from your eyes.

I always want your eyes
to dance and sparkle
with reciprocal smile.

Because, with your smile
and sparkle
attach my smile.

I wanted you to smile more
but the wish
created a sore.

With your sad face,
I lost my smile,
a void that I feel
Like the Bermuda Triangle,
where the wish should enter
for ever.
