A Wistful Prayer Poem by welkin siskin

A Wistful Prayer

Let me pray for that day
Where dreams you left
Could no longer trail away my voice.
Where I could blink
my eyes and find
those diverse trails
cutting through the edges of life.
Let me pray for that day
Where I could no more panic in hardships and barriers,
that road of unflinching resolve.
