A Woman I Have Lost Poem by Relebohile Molale

A Woman I Have Lost

Rating: 4.7

i'm destroyed, i'm broken hearted, will i ever be whole?
I've dug deep within my spirit, bury my remainders in that hole

If it happens i'm resurrected just know that its not 'I'
The world is cruel and filled with hatred, bonus is people who lie

I'm where i am at this precise moment because of fibs i took to head
I just wish i never believed every single word she said

But i had no choice, i needed someone who could help me build a life
Fully be a part of it, i always thought that someday she'd be my wife

All along i wrote my teeth with ink, how stupid of me
I recall when i opened doors of my heart for her even gave the key

Now i'm just damaged, cheeks are wet, my tears water the ground
Don't be astonished when you hear the news of where my body was found

I'm in another striving for happiness whatever the cost
Things have amended, a woman to keep is now a woman I've lost.
