When I'm old and wrinkly
in the future someday
will someone write me a poem
Saying how wonderful I look today
I might stare back with
a toothless grin
But I still deserve a word or two
To help a new day begin
Your tender words
And loving thoughts
Is enough to keep me going
Ahh …those words to help me through
To begin my day again..
From time to time, I think we all reflect on what our older years might be like. I remember my dear old mum saying (at the tender age of 84) 'I feel just the same inside you know dear.' Yes, a kind words never goes astray, no matter how old the recipient. A gentle reflective piece from three of a kind. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
A kind word or two can make all the difference. Very nice. A ten for all three of you. Warm regards, Sandra
