A Work In Progress. - Poem by Glacies Flurry

The black outline of people long gone from reality still haunting my never land..
They still look the same from when the left, they talk to me as if they were never gone..
They still look the same from when the left, they whisper my past to me..
They whisper my past to me, and all my failures.
They will not let me forget all the wrong that I have done.
They will not allow me to forget the path I should have taken..
They draw closer and closer each one whispering a different failure of my past to me
I close my eyes, I try to ignore the words, I close my eyes, I fall to my knees I begin to tear up but I still hear them,
I just want to leave this place..
I just want to forget the things I have done.
I just want to stop the regret of my past.

Silence fills the room now as I looked up only to find a single outline left,
The outline of my former self
My former slowly began to blow away as if he was made of dust..
I let out a sigh of relief looking down at the ground now covered in tears.
I begin to see light creep across the ground, a blinding light.. I place my hand in front of my face and close my eyes as it disappears..
I open my eyes again only to find myself in my room once more and my pillow covered in the tears from my nightmare.
