A World Lost Poem by Bryan Seyffert

A World Lost

Sometimes I see things black and white
Mostly things just don't seem right
So many suffering day and night
So much struggling and daily plight

Our world in pain
In need of your rain
Going insane
All around distain

Worshiping idols of plastic and gold
Onto false promises we often hold
Many unaware of the truths you've told
Christians afraid to stand up and be bold

At what cost
So many lost
Their eyes are glossed
Satan their souls accost

Help us now to stand strong
To stand in faith and sing your song
To lead the lost where they belong
And right the world of all this wrong
