People hide behind a mask of pretense.
Their true selves hidden.
Is it a matter of ignorance or shame
that leads them to pretend?

The doctors have become a disease.
The preachers have become sinners.
The judges have become the guilty ones.
The politicians have become liars.

Good has become bad.
Bad has become good.
I search for answers but
I find more questions instead.

Perception is a lens that can decieve.
Society's perception can make or break.
Let us shatter the mask of pretence
and reveal the beauty within.
