A Young Life (In Memory Of My Cousin) Poem by Rachel Finley

A Young Life (In Memory Of My Cousin)

Rating: 4.8

Today we are not celebrating a death
Instead we are celebrating a life
A life
Who had a hard start in life
Yet made it through

This joyful life
Brought hope
To those who had none

He was almost six
When he died
Many said that
He had just began his life

He wanted to be a superhero
And fly like Superman
And now I hope that
He realizes that
He is one of my heroes

But no question about it
He was loved
And he touched the
Soul,
Heart,
And spirit
Of every one he knew

A wonderful tribute to a child who died in the early part of his life. We don't understand why God would take one so young, but we know that he knows best and we must just carry on with our faith. I just think though, that this youngster will never have to go through the trials and tribulations of this life instead he lives a life of peace and tranquility. He most certainly is blessed by our Father in Heaven and for that we must be grateful. God Bless you Rachel and may God give you strength to keep you moving in the right direction.--Thankyou for sharing Rachel--Melvina--
