Abduction Poem by Breanna Verkon

Abduction

She ordered from the menu
Everything within you
She sat and sipped on her drink
It burned her tongue and she couldn’t think
She spilled her soup on her spoon
And got up and left at noon
When she got home she found a note
That gave her directions to a boat
So she drove down to a boat
So she drove down to the harbor
What she got was far more than she bargained for
As she sat on the dock
She took off each sock
And dipped her toes in the blue
Swinging her feet for a few
The birds flew around
She stopped kicking and frowned
She screamed at what she saw
Slipped trying not to fall
But soon she saw nothing
And her ears began to ring
