About Birds Poem by Igor Balatsky

About Birds

She asked me yesterday
while resting on my chest,
Please, tell me, sweet,
what do you think I am
among the all variety of birds?
I thought for instant,
smiled and then replied,
You are my swan
with gentle snow-white wings.
And what about me?
I asked her.
You are my little
thoughtful fluffy penguin,
she whispered softly
in the arms of Morpheus.
