Above Myself Poem by Kevin Webster

Above Myself

Alone and here,
in my own darkness,
with shutter emotions.
I show nothing to you
And you show nothing to me
So what does this mean?
Does my emotions close you from seeing or hearing you?
But why does this mean you ask?

I never knew what it was like for you.
I never knew how hard it was for you.
I wish I had made a better choice for both of us.
This isn't or nor the same without you.

Above myself is a Bareable reach
To see you..
Ha, who am I to say,
I was to cocky for my own good
Now I am here in this darkness and alone without fear.
