Absorbed In This New Blissful Act Of Vision
Ignorant as yet of the final act
of communion, and absorbed
fully in this new blissful
act of vision, the subject forgets
that it belongs to those
who are still on the way.
It is in these descriptions
of the joy of illumination,
in the outpourings of love
and rapture belonging to this
state, that we shall find the most
lyrical passages of mystical literature.
