Abstraction Poem by Aicha Mansoor

Abstraction

Open your bright turquoise eyes, discover the world as it is,
The silvery luster of the moon,
The magical twinkling of the shining stars,
The opaline colors of the rainbow above you,
The raindrops that fill the deep navy ocean,
The sea waves in all variations of blue,
The evergreen of the grass beneath your bare feet,
The fluffiness of the milky clouds in the azure sky,
The ethereality when butterflies spread their wings,
The cherry blossoms that sway away in the light breeze,
The flow of the water in the fresh streams,
The snow covering the emerald pine trees as it falls,
The orange, yellow and red light of dawn,
The bristliness of the mists in timberlands,
The tiny black dots on the red small ladybug,
The chroma in the petals of flowers,
The delicacy of the net of a spider,
The smoothness of a well polished stone,
The buzzing of a swarm of bees,
The dewy pores of viridian leaves,
The beige caps of wild mushrooms,
The lightness of the pure air,
The hardness of the wood of trunks,
The whispers among the trees,
The finesse of the sand along seashores,
The texture of the shells on the beach,
And the every little thing existing,

Learn to cherish and appreciate,
Within each breath that you take,
The greater in this world you can create,
The better of this world you can make...
