Abuse Poem by Melanie Hannon

Abuse

Crying boy sitting on the ground
Makes not a peep, not a single sound
Cry because of his pain
Crying without any shame

In his hand he holds a gun
His heart racing, as he begins to run
It was so easy, so easy to use
It ended all the days of his father’s abuse
