Accident of the Day

A day breathed its last
It tried to overtake
and got smashed
under the wheel of time
Perhaps It was too fast.
.....................................
I stood beside watching
the accident as a bust
A few drops of blood
splashed over my clad
That vindicate my doing.
.............................................
It will get reported in the court
the death of the day
the time will be blamed
I will have to stand as witness
what to say stammer in throat
