Accountability Poem by Katrina Lusk

Accountability

Take a chance, never let go.
Risk everything, and lose control.
Cry in the rain to hide your troubles.
Or just simply dance in the puddles.
Let your voice be heard, speak out loud.
Don't sit and worry about the "in" crowd.
Say what you want and do what you love.
Be yourself, and reach for the stars above.
Never blame others when you get hurt.
We all make mistakes, just bury them in the dirt.
It's no one's fault but your own.
You took the risks when you were left alone.
You decided who was worth while,
so blame yourself for your own life's trials.
