My tears were a rainfall of acid
When you said it was over
Thought you were different
Turns out you're just the same

Thinking of how you said you loved me
Wondering if that's still true
Back of my mind
I'm still thinking of you

My mouth was speechless
When I heard you say
Those three small words
That took my breath away

I knew we wouldn't last
When we fought that very first time
You promised you wouldn't cheat
Turns out that was a lie
