Act Three Poem by Mason Maestro

Act Three

See the throne on the altar of Pergamon
See the reworked blueprints of Solomon
See who is seated, the son of perdition
Anti-messiah - the evil rendition

Who was born in a house of privilege
Who was fitted with bridle and bit
Who was given a pat on the back
Who was raised on a diet of power
Who was regent in tongue and in class
Who was a beast rising from the sea
Who was baptized in the unholiest blood
Who was in command of ten great horns
Who had ground you down in the grind
Who was making his way to the top
Who was given a seat in the stand
Who was offered a place on the board
Who had clout with the auslanders above
Who was revered throughout the world
Who was worshipped in praise in his place
Who was found in a war against God
Who was brought to his knees before long
Who was charged to the dark of the cleft
Who was cast out to exit stage left
