Adaptability Poem by Jaipal Singh

Adaptability

Once Confucius said
As the water shapes
Itself to the vessel
That contains it,
So a wise man adapts
Himself to the circumstances.

Blaming the circumstances
Or people in the surrounding
For own misfortune or misery
Seldom yield tangible results
Instead a positive mindset
Faith, hope and courage
With willingness to adapt
Brings miraculous outcomes even in
The most adverse circumstances.
