Addiction - Poem by Shelly 945

our hearts desire what feels like fire
rushing through your vain you cant feel the pain
it makes you feel like you are on top
this thing you never want to stop
again, and again, you want it to last long
even though you know its wrong
you love the taste on your lips
but apart your life it starts to rip
breathing it in through your nose
it makes you dizzy blocks out the noise
the smoke through my mouth
when i started i lost my youth
i need help but I'm afraid
afraid of asking for someones aid
why did i start this tore my life apart
i wish all i did wrong i can get rid
i wish i knew if i started id be addicted...
