Addiction Falls Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

Addiction Falls

You snailed into my soul
and errand your mastered-
key into the keyhole.
The portal bowed down
to you in honour of your art,
as lord of emotions.

Since then, you reign
Yes you reign.
You rain in my heart;
the pleasure and pain.
The slippery ground longs to
dance down my drunken soul,
while you push me about
in satisfaction of your delight.

But today, the curtain has fallen
on your Fela show of madness.
