Addictions Poem by Carla Kitts

Addictions

I have so many addiction, and you are my main one
With a single look I bet you could make me come undone
But I have to keep us strong
Have to make sure we don't do anything wrong
I know I'm simply going through withdrawls
That this pain I'm feeling is like that of one who has scraps after a fall
God please help me be strong for us both
Grant me the stregth to resist wrong

we have addictions to the strangest things. its a tense poem. certain rhymes, length contrasts and wide repetition see to that.
