A blue light shines so bright,
Bugs fly near with all their might.
A sizzle, then a pop,
Their short, hot dance does stop.
The swarm, it fades so fast,
Their sting will never last.
But some with eyes so keen,
See danger, sharp and mean.
They turn and fly away,
From that blue, fatal ray.
For them, the old ways call,
Sticky traps will catch
them all.
A swatter, quick and neat,
Ends their aerial feat.
No more buzz in the air,
Safe from that danger there.
