After A Love Affair
I was so young and so in love
There was sunshine evrywhere I looked,
I could find warmth within everything.
Anything was possible, anything at all.
How wonderful a time it was! My heart was
so full, bursting from joy. There was no
such thing as pain in my world. How delightful
it is to be naive, to not know hard things like
the truth....
How hard it is to know the truth...
