After The Eclipse Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

After The Eclipse

The drink would whisper, 'No one sees, '
Then shout, 'The world revolves 'round me! '
Invisible dust, a shining star,
Too far apart, yet that's how things were.

Now sober days, a different view,
No need to choose, what's false and true.
The moon I craved, a perfect light,
Is often sliver, dim, and slight.

But in the darkness, lessons hide,
Where shadows fall, and truths reside.
Each little phase, a chance to grow,
To see myself, and how I flow.

Though darkness comes, an eclipse near,
The light returns, and vision's clear.
The moon's soft glow, a steady friend,
My journey's long, until the end.
