You look up towards the sky above
To beg God to give you back the one that you love
You try but just can't understand why
It was your loved one that had to die
You don't know how to deal with your fears
And it seems that you'll never run out of tears
Just when you think you can deal with the pain
Another memory will trigger the tears to fall again
The love you had for each other can't be measured
The memories you have are yours to treasure
Reminiscing the memories that were made
Will help you through as this horrible tune starts to fade
These precious memories will help carry you on
Long after your loved one is gone.
