Against All Odds - Poem by William F Glennon
I hope and pray she'll come back to me someday.
The love we shared remains in me and won't go away.
Our dreams faded and she felt betrayed.
Time cannot be undone.
The damage has already done.
The love and hate were mixed.
I've stopped believing our love
could be fixed.
The endless emotions might overwhelm me.
My heart was broken for the world to see.
The changes might bring me confusion and pain.
I won't stop believing in the truth.
Maybe we'll turn back the clock and start anew.
