Where did you bring me O dear Son?
A foreign land without the Sun!
The windows closed and shutters down
The house is cold deadly silence around!
Not a single soul within the sight
Fearful loneliness ghastly night
The sound of my breath louder than wind
The silent cry of miserable mind
The growing wound of the deepening pain
Miserable shouts of fear in vain!
Where did you bring me O Dear Son?
A foreign land without the Sun!
The paintings on wall neat and clean
Lovely curtains with flowers green
Huge bed with soft cushion
Silk comforter, discomfortable pain
Restless night heavy tension
Freezing cold shivering sensation
Feelings of anger cause in vain
Where did you bring O Dear Son?
To a foreign land without the Sun!
Cool refrigerator, a great Monster
Stale food, horrible smell of great disaster
Bottles of drinks burning the throat
Torture and pain of a fearful test
Nervous face frowning with sweat
Angry curse armless fight
Moments of frustration
An expression of spineless action
Why did you bring me O dear Son
To a foreign land without the Sun?
Take me back to my land that dazzles so bright
Where the Sun shines with glorious light
Life is full of mirth and laughter
Loving company giggles of cheer
Safe and sound with happiness full
Joy and glory, life, 'meaningful'.....! ! !
