Ah, Sista! Poem by L.A. Kenton

Ah, Sista!

Rating: 5.0

Ah sista I jus’ had to go do kiss an’ scat
Jet-black braid flow-whistle tract
Shakespeare-look of this, pout-tip of that
An arrowed door say: swing peach & bat

Ah brother I jus’ had t’ pack my chest n’ lamely go
Maybe Italy, France, don’t know a breast n’show
A dance, shot mare tucked-leg n’ Parisian bow
Lone trail road, Grecian minstrel flow

Ah Mother I jus’ had to blaze out go rhyme
Some old wee Tom, medieval crime
Let’s give him ‘bout quart-two five, the time
Hope His bigger finger don’t wag on mine!

Ah Father I jus’ had to plainly go do that sing
Some lost wed belle an’ broke gold-ring
An O’, O’ you see this country, country-blues thing?
Eh, sniff cure-pig I’ve my lil’ swansong to bring

Ah everyone here or shot lovebird’s fluttering sky
I’ll raise a shrill arrow n’ bow give you verse & try
O’ I know it’s alas, but I’ll ill-wonder, wonder why
Why sweet why she’d go look cold-eye

So people burn my old cooked books
You can avert thy pity, brazen gaze n’ looks
I’ve a pile o’ riddle personae poets, all old bitter rooks
Can’t see me counsel-easy now? No fix on a sore-paw crux...
