Alice Of Wonderland Poem by fareeha khan

Alice Of Wonderland

Here and there roaming there and here
passing by ostentatious streets, feet bare
squinting at everything for sale, with a glare
this is the saga of alice of wonderland in a fair

She dewlt among the unknown faces
strange thoughts, novel notion, queer ways
Traversing long journeys, passing through allys
Alice of wonderland in the street of deatly glaze

intimidated, afraid, choked with fear
everyone smiling with bewitching lear
Riding the carriage, with fantsy and share
in the tale of love, euphoria and disaster

She loved, lived and at once died
This is the saga of Alice of wonderland
For love she lived, for love she died
Entered into the hell of affection she belied

Oh love what thee has done to me
Scattered and dispersed, languishing in sad glee
Oh love! make me sad and make me happy
Oh love! doth she cried, make fears flee

This is the tale of alice of wonderland
for love she lived and for love doth died
entered into strange allays blindfolded
Leaving vacant four corners of the world
