Alien Abduction... Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Alien Abduction...

Every touch and taste is Martian.
We build tough external walls.
We are like desecrated graves.

When a lover takes their leave
We don't know who is at home.
Only that an alien abduction has taken place —

And the child cries, covering its face.
