Alignment Poem by J.C. Masa

Alignment

I'm not trying to find answers or validation,
All I want is to create a consistent story out of an inconsistent situation,
Even if it's born from pure imagination,
Please allow my curious mind this quiet fascination.

I keep holding on even if you didn't make a promise,
The feeling's so strong—I don't want it to vanish.
I believe there's a higher force who planned this,
Making it worth the wait, for you are priceless.

I know there is a rhythm to the universe
That will bring me exactly where I need to be,
And your eyes are all that I can see.
I don't want you to save or rescue me,
Because you've already set me free.
