Alive Again Poem by Shadow Girl

You mix me
in a way i know is
wrong
a way that i've never been mixed before.

You shake my spirit, you shake
my soul
you're the only one who has made it
whole again

And like a slap across the face
you brought the feeling back
into my being

And it scares me
intrigues me
confuses me
yet i know not
if it's wrong or right

like two pieces of a jigsaw
together a perfect fit
mixed together in the box
with a blur of colours that are
hard to match
and a picture we are meant to make
but never will

And through the day i am still
going through the motions
but slowly
gradually
my spirit stirs
the light streams through the cracks
My soul is alive again.
