All Fall Apart - Poem by Alex Kult

How long did we think this would last?
Ignoring all the pain in our past
Holding hands and laughing loudly
And keep stumbling on ever so blindly
Pretending that everything would be just fine
All the while telling me you're mine
But in the end we didn't get very far
As we watched it all fall apart
