How can I stand the pain?
How can you be so proud?
How can you know that I feel like this?
How can you not know it?

Inside I feel so hurt.
Outside I feel so happy.
Truth is I can't stand it.
Truth is nothing you wouldn't understand.

The eyes I see look so pure.
When truthfully you're a fake.
The smile I see show happiness.
When truthfully you're using me.

I will never know why.
I will never know the real you.
I will never see you again.
I will never see us together.

I thought you felt the same way.
I thought wrong.
I thought you loved me the same.
Thought something worse.

You're the reason I feel so dead.
You're the reason I feel so numb.
You're the reason I can't trust no more.
You're the reason I don't feel complete.
