Time for something new
We both need a change
Though you are reluctant
It hurts less than you think

Don't mean to push
But it feels like I'm dying
I want to be with you
And know you want me too

My only comfort is sleep
You're mine in every dream
Fighting not to wake
Just to let you go again

I thought I could handle it
If I'd only known what to expect
All the pain and trouble of loving you
Would someday be all for nothing
