ALL I CAN DO IS WHAT I AM

All I can do is what I am
I can’t be better than this-
If it is not good enough
This is what God has given-
I will try and try again
As long as I am able-
This is what my life has been-
But if it is not good enough
It is not good enough –
I have tried to make myself better
In so many ways through so much time
And all I am is what I have done-
If it is not good enough-
Forgive me.
