The sun shines for everyone but me
I'm everything but what I want to be
All of my dreams are coming true
But for who

I believe every single lie
Because the only truth I've ever known
Every night I cry
Because I don't want to be alone

There's nothing I could ever want more
Than to feel the love that was there before
All I ever wanted was to feel like someone cared
That someone I could count on was there

All I ever wanted was to feel like I belonged
That I actually matter
These have been my desires for long
And yet my hopes and dreams continue to shatter!
